The DART light rail system serves the metropolitan area of Dallas, Texas. It is owned and operated by Dallas Area Rapid Transit. The system opened June 14, 1996 and serves 65 stations and four lines, covering 93 miles: the Blue Line, the Red Line, the Green Line, and the Orange Line.
