Sabrina Carpenter: Short n' Sweet Tour — Washington DC
Sabrina Carpenter had the summer of 2024 — and the Short n' Sweet Tour is her chance to deliver all of it live. The singer behind the inescapable hits "Espresso," "Please Please Please," and "Taste" brings her sharp wit, flawless pop sensibility, and incredible stage presence to Capital One Arena in Washington DC on April 11, 2025.
What to Expect
Sabrina Carpenter's live show is a masterclass in pop performance — tight choreography, clever banter, stunning costumes, and a setlist perfectly calibrated for maximum singalong energy. Fans can expect the full Short n' Sweet album plus deep cuts from her earlier catalog. The show features elaborate set changes, costume reveals, and the charming humor Carpenter brings to every interview and performance. She routinely surprises with guest appearances — past tour stops have featured notable cameos.
Fan Travel Guide: Washington DC
Getting There: Capital One Arena is in the heart of DC's Penn Quarter neighborhood, steps from the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro stop (Green, Yellow, and Red lines). Metro is absolutely the best way to get there — the arena is above the station.
Where to Stay: The Conrad Washington DC and Canopy by Hilton Georgetown are both great bets. For something boutique, try the Riggs Washington DC, a converted 1891 bank building now a stunning hotel near the arena.
Pre-Show DC: Penn Quarter has excellent dining. Jaleo by José Andrés is right around the corner and iconic. Rasika for modern Indian cuisine, Founding Farmers for American comfort food, or Cranes for Michelin-starred Spanish-Japanese fusion.
After the Show: The 9:30 Club and Black Cat are legendary DC music venues for after-show live music. Shaw and U Street neighborhoods are DC's nightlife hub — a short Uber from the arena and full of bars, live jazz, and late-night eats.
DC Bonus: Stay an extra day and visit the Smithsonian museums (all free), the National Mall, and the Lincoln Memorial. DC is one of the great walkable cities in America and deeply underrated as a travel destination.
